Health Physics is known as the science of radiation protection. It is a profession devoted to the beneficial use of radiation while protecting people and the environment from potential hazards associated with radiation. The Student Branch of the Health Physics Society (HPS) at Purdue University is a student organization dedicated to helping students learn about, and excel in, the practice of radiation protection. It is a student-run organization that welcomes anyone interested in health physics and associated studies.
