Academic
It is our goal as a club to promote awareness of American Sign Language as a language as well as its usage. We intend provide opportunities for ASL users to practice and hone their language skills. Furthermore, it is of great interest to our club to hold events that promote Deaf culture and awareness of this culture. The culture and language of Deaf Americans are an underrepresented minority and deserve further recognition and awareness.
