Political & Advocacy
We are the student branch of a national organization - J Street - that does community engagement and organizing around the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. We believe that both Israelis and Palestinians have the right to self-determination, which is why we feel the two-state solution is the only feasible outcome. Our goals are to educate our fellow students, facilitate discussions, and organize leaders in the larger American Jewish community to take bold action in defending human rights and helping achieve peace in the region. If you have an affinity for politics, social justice, community organizing, or religion, if you have a personal connection with Israel or Palestine, or if you’re looking to learn more about this incredibly complex and fascinating conflict, this is the place to be!
