APAMSA Pre-Med's goals are:a) To promote the dissemination of information relative to Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) issues in the field of medical education;b) To explore and possibly resolve the unique challenges, obstacles, and responsibilities specific to Asian American and Pacific Islander pre-medical students;c) To provide opportunities for Asian American and Pacific Islander pre-medical students to give back to their community (i.e.) through service.We offer:Mentorship with University of Michigan medical studentsMentorship between upperclassmen and underclassmenWide array of volunteer opportunitiesHealth initiatives on campus Speaker events with medical professionals and studentsAwareness of mental health within the AAPI communityA welcoming and strong community of pre-medical and pre-health studentsSocial events and collaborations with other student organizations
