BGSG is a graduate student organization at the Medical School composed of representatives from each training program in the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (OGPS). This encompasses all the 14 PhD programs at U-M Medical School (PIBS), the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP), and the Post-baccalaureate Research Education Program (PREP). Meetings are held each month to organize outreach and social events, more importantly to address any graduate student concerns by working closely with OGPS. We provide a sounding board for student concern, mentoring, a social network, and opportunities to be involved in the community.
