BIPOC Peer-Led Support Group (PLSG) is a partnership between the Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center (SAPAC) and the Office of Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs (MESA). BIPOC PLSG is a confidential support group for survivors of color who have experienced sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking, and/or sexual harassment. We know that, while these experiences can be difficult for anyone, it can be particularly complex to be a survivor of color, especially at a predominantly white institution. BIPOC PLSG is a place to find not only community but healing opportunities, including anxiety reduction, self-care activities, mindfulness, and coping mechanisms! If you are interested in attending our weekly meetings, please fill out the interest form to be added to our participant list. Meetings will be held in person on the 4th floor of the Michigan Union in room 4100. Our meeting schedule for the Fall 2024 is Wednesday from 5:00-6:00 pm in person. Visit our website for more information.
