The Black Graduate Student Association at the University of Michigan purpose is to develop the academic and social potentials of its members and to provide an environment of support and cultural enrichment within the University of Michigan community through involvement in:Academic support and collaboration;Community Affairs;Networking opportunities amongst the University of Michigan community and Alumni ;Culturally relevant Academic and Social discussions MissionThe Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) aims to develop the academic and social potentials of its members and to provide an environment of support and cultural enrichment within the University of Michigan community through involvement in actions that advance equity and promote a supportive environment for Black graduate students at UM to thrive. We work with key stakeholders across campus and engage in meaningful solidarity with community-led movements at UM and beyond.
