BLUELab EASE is a multidisciplinary, student-run team focused on implementing socially engaged engineering solutions that improve quality of life for people with disabilities, both locally and internationally. Our team has two current projects: one working within a community in Leon, Nicaragua, and another working right here in Ann Arbor. For our Nicaragua project, we are designing an assistive seating device for children in this area who have cerebral palsy. This project is being completed alongside our two partnering nonprofit organizations, FNE International and SPTLN. For our local project in Ann Arbor, we are teaming with Ann Arbor Public Schools to bring accessible design to the classroom. We aim to collaborate with community partners and local non-profits to create sustainable products that improve quality of life for people with disabilities. If you're interested in our team or have any questions, contact leadership members at bluelab-ease-requests@umich.edu!
