The purpose of this organization is to allow pre-med/health undergraduates to learn more about Cystic Fibrosis (CF), an inherited life threatening disease that affects the lungs. The purpose involves spreading CF awareness, raising funds for the CF foundation, allowing students to learn more about pulmonary medicine and how pulmonologists contribute to prolonging the life of those with CF. Cure Found is committed to offering top-tier pre-health opportunities geared towards learning more about pulmonary medicine and Cystic Fibrosis in order to spread awareness and educate people about the disease at a large and diverse university. Cure Found also aims to utilize the University of Michigan's active campus to fundraise for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and to gain pre-health learning opportunities and experiences related to pulmonary medicine.
