CURIS (“cares” in Latin) is a student organization dedicated to raising awareness about public health efforts and enacting change in our own community. We partner with local organizations on a variety of projects that aim to provide people with the resources and support they need to improve their health. To accomplish this, we conduct research, organize community events, fundraise, and more. Some of the topics our projects have been focused on in the past are mental health, child care, health policy, and sexual assault. Additionally, CURIS is committed to providing its members with professional development opportunities, volunteering and social events, as well as a welcoming community where they can educate themselves about public health topics and career options.
