Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) exists to recognize the academic achievements of students in the EECS department. In addition to simply having scholastic achievement, we value character and demonstrated commitment to the various communities of which we are a part. As such, members must participate in community service activities in order to successfully join. We also provide opportunities for socialization among our members, as well as with other societies, including TBP, SWE, and IEEE. We also represent the EECS student body to the EECS department and College of Engineering by participating in various committees and events. Corporate recruiters come to HKN to bring technical and recruiting talks to campus, both specifically for HKN members as well as for the whole EECS student body.
