FGPA was established to provide additional support and guidance to those who identify as first-generation college students and intend to pursue a career in healthcare. The FGPA helps its members navigate the often overlooked challenges and circumstances that pre-health first-gen college students often encounter. By sharing resources, developing leadership skills, and establishing mentorship opportunities we aim to facilitate first-generation students’ preparation for future careers in healthcare.
