Our University of Michigan chapter aims to bring together student volunteers who are a dedicated group of individuals committed to making an impact on oral health disparities around the world.With their skills, compassion, and cultural sensitivity, Global Dental Brigades volunteers work tirelessly to deliver preventive education, basic dental procedures, and oral hygiene supplies to communities that lack access to adequate dental care. They understand the profound impact that oral health has on overall well-being and strive to empower individuals to take control of their oral health through education and treatment.These volunteers embody the spirit of collaboration and service, working alongside local healthcare professionals and community members to create sustainable solutions for improving oral health outcomes. As student volunteers, we embark on a 7 day brigade in countries, such as Honduras, Panama, or Guatemala. Whether they're conducting dental clinics in remote villages or implementing community-based oral health initiatives, Global Dental Brigades student volunteers are champions of dental equity, bringing smiles and transforming lives wherever they go.
