Community Service & Volunteering
Nazun (previously named Challah for Hunger) is a non-profit organization that bakes different flavors of Challah, a Jewish braided bread, each week with the help of volunteers, most of which come from service organizations on campus. We then sell the bread to students and members of the Davis community and all of our proceeds go organizations that are working to alleviate food insecurity both locally and nationally. We also are heavily involved in advocacy efforts to raise awareness and create policy changes that support students that are food insecure on college campuses.
