Academic
The Graduate Economics Society exists in order to promote a positive and productive environment for graduate students in the Department of Economics at the University of Michigan. To this end, we work to facilitate social events among graduate students and greater interaction among the students, and between students and faculty members. In addition, we help coordinate office allocations and other managerial responsibilities. Finally, we seek to represent the graduate students to the department, helping to engage the department on issues that may arise, and improvements to the policies and program of graduate study in economics.
