The Indian Student Association is a community of graduate and undergraduate students of Indian origin who are pursuing their academic degrees at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Our primary objective is to foster a welcoming social network amongst the Indian community on campus. We proudly serve as a valuable resource for incoming Indian students, offering guidance and support with regard to navigating the complexities of student life in a new environment. Our commitment to the well-being of our members is demonstrated by our efforts to address a wide range of needs such as housing, networking, and general inquiries.Our association also strives to be an active participant in various University activities, as well as a partner of student organizations to contribute to the rich diversity of our campus community. The day-to-day operations of the association are managed by a team of dedicated volunteers who serve as the board.As an organization, we take great pride in offering a vibrant cultural experience through a diverse array of events. These events include the celebration of Indian national holidays such as Republic Day, Diwali, and Holi, as well as activities such as Indian movie screenings, cricket screenings, potlucks, and welcome events for incoming students.
