Jewish Voice for Peace organizes for Palestinian liberation and Judaism beyond zionism. We aim to create a space where Jewish students from all backgrounds and traditions can celebrate our culture and advocate for the national liberation of Palestine. JVP aims to educate students and the wider community about the ongoing displacement and genocide of Palestinians by the Zionist occupation. It advocates for a more just U.S. foreign policy that does not support the occupation of Palestine, as well as advocating for our university to divest from any and all companies that invest in and/or profit from the genocide of Palestinian people. JVP’s mission is to create a strong Jewish anti-Zionist institution on campus by hosting cultural events inspired by Jewish traditions promoting justice for all, as well as participating in actions led by Palestinian activists to show Jewish solidarity with the Palestinian movement (which includes our membership in the TAHRIR Coalition).
