The mission of POCUS at UC Davis is to provide early exposure to the role of point of care ultrasound in Primary Care and Emergency Medicine. Students will have the opportunity to master basic procedural techniques, expand upon basic ultrasound education, and prepare for eligibility of POCUS certification. POCUS at UC Davis will pursue competency in the role of bedside ultrasound in diagnosis of pathology and provide students with additional clinical skills for their future practice.
