Men in Social Work formed with the goal of addressing the numerous and underserved social work-relevant areas in which men and boys are falling behind, and to promote their thriving. The group aims to generate solutions, raise awareness about significant issues facing men and boys, support men's involvement in the field of social work and form generative alliances with similarly aligned groups.Men in Social Work welcomes people of all identities who are aligned with the group's aims. We also are committed to avoiding zero-sum thinking and privileging some groups over others, instead seeking to promote integral thinking and solutions. The group aims to support student members' initiatives and career objectives, as well as providing networking and social support for all its members.
