Cybersecurity is incredibly important in every day life. This is especially true for the vehicles around us, whether they are drones, planes, cars, etc. Michigan - Aerospace Cybersecurity Team works to improve the cybersecurity of drones by modifying a commercial off-the-shelf drone in order to make it less prone to hackers. To demonstrate the cybersecurity of our drone, we have an annual competition against industry professionals who attempt to hack our drone.M-ACT is a great place to put your skills to work, whether it's in cybersecurity, control systems, autonomy, structures, propulsion, and many other things. It's also a great way to get involved in a multidisciplinary team and model-based systems engineering, along with being a fantastic way to gain experience as we work alongside industry professionals.
