TO JOIN MASA, EMAIL masaleads@umich.edu, OR ATTEND OUR MASS MEETING (see events)The Michigan Aeronautical Science Association (MASA) is an engineering project team committed to increasing student interest in high power rocketry at the University of Michigan. Our goal is to teach students about the basics of rocketry and to provide hands-on exposure to the design, analysis, build, and test phases of engineering. Last year, MASA successfully launched Clementine, our largest liquid bipropellant rocket to have launched so far! We pride ourselves on having rockets and ground support systems designed, analyzed, built, tested, and operated almost entirely by MASA members. We are now working on Limelight, an advanced rocket with the goal of breaking the student altitude record for liquid bipropellant rocketry!
