MAISI’s mission is to:Build the AI safety community at the University of MichiganLaunch students into high-impact AI safety careersConduct research that reduces the risk of AI-related catastrophesMAISI runs in-person cohorts of programs like AI Safety Fundamentals and Intro to ML Safety, as well as discussion meetings and social events. Club organizers help members make career plans for AI safety and find relevant research + internship opportunities.
