Founded in 1946, the University of Michigan Artistic Swimming Team (formerly the University of Michigan Synchronized Swimming Team) is a nationally competitive team focused on encouraging swimmers to grow as athletes and individuals. We promote teamwork, love of sport, and create an environment of sportsmanlike conduct for all levels of competition and ability.The Michigan Artistic Swimming team trains during fall semester and competes at 5 meets during winter semester with a water show in April.Practices this semester are at most three times a week at Canham Natatorium from 9-11pm Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
