MQC (formerly MTI) was formed to be an outlet for students with a passion for mathematics and computer science to practice their skills in real-world contexts.Members have the opportunity to form and join a different project team every semester. Covering topics from machine learning to computer graphics, public database word processing, and even molecular dynamics simulation, these teams can explore infinite possible approaches to processing and understanding quantitative data.We have members with interests in the physical/natural sciences, engineering, finance, mathematical research, and more. Teams are chosen on a semester-by-semester basis, and there are no restrictions on who is allowed to start/lead a team.
