The Michigan Vis Moot International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Team is group of law students that compete at the William C. Vis Moot Competition. The competition focuses on areas of international arbitration and business transactions. The team consists of researchers, oralists, and coaches. Oralists travel to compete in mock arbitrations with teams around the world. Researchers assist with the brief writing segment of the competition. The focus is on developing knowledge and skills that will empower students at competition. As competitors, the team members research international legal problems, draft briefs, and participate in oral arguments. Tryouts for related competitions are held annually.
