Notably Black and Gay is founded on three tenets: fellowship, education, and activism. Notably Black and Gay is committed to creating an inclusive community, queering our university’s space, and creating cross-campus relationships.Notably Black and Gay acknowledges the importance of education in constructing and understanding your racial and sexual identity. It is not enough to simply be gay so Notably Black and Gay recognizes education as a core tenet.Notably Black and Gay strives to equip our members with accurate history, language, and everyday tangible ways to make social change to further improve the black queer community.
