Sexual and Gender Diversity in Public Health (SGDPH) aimsto promote the voices of LGBTQ+ students within dialogues at the University of Michigan, with a focus in the School of Public Health; to promote an inclusive and intersectional LGBTQ+ community among the School of Public Health students, faculty, and staff;to create a safe space for conversation and individuality among LGBTQ+ students;to create a collaborative effort with other values based student organizations at the School of Public Health and Rackham Graduate School;to educate and inform the community about current topics and issues focused on LGBTQ+ rights, culture, or health;and to make a welcoming environment for all School of Public Health students, faculty and staff, with a focus on LGBTQ+ persons.
