We are the Beta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Nu at the University of Michigan, the Alpha chapter having been established at the University of California, Berkeley in 2005. We are establishing this new fraternity at the University of Michigan to open the door to more students that have a passion for law or working in the legal field. Our mission is to give students the tools to determine their direction and career paths within law by bringing in a variety of speakers to talk about their work. We also aim to help students apply to law school and legal jobs through resumé help, LSAT test prep guidance, and essay writing collaboration. The final goal for our fraternity is to bring a social element to our members and bring people together through their passion for law and create friendship and brotherhood among UM students.
