The Theta Theta chapter of Sigma Chi at the University of Michigan was originally founded on November 20th, 1877 with our most recent rechartering occuring in November of 2009. We are located at 548 S. State St in Ann Arbor in a house that was originally built for the chapter in 1912. Sigma Chi is well known on campus for our academic performance, philanthropic enternrpises, and our social standing among the Greek and University communities. Our most notable philanthropic event is our annual Derby Days celebration which raises money for Sigma Chi's national philanthropy, the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. The chapter has members involved in all aspects life at Michigan and together are an active and driven brotherhood. We are a diverse group of young men with different temperments, talents, and convictions, bound together by our devotion to the core principles for which Sigma Chi stands, Friendship, Justice, and Learning.
