The South Quadrangle Hall Council recognizes that each student’s experience at the University of Michigan is shaped both within and outside of his/her academic life and that their residence hall life can be an important part of that experience. Therefore, the purpose of the Council is to develop a meaningful and enriching South Quad community for its residents.The purpose of South Quad Hall Council shall be to:Plan, promote, and coordinate participation in residence hall functions.Encourage interaction between and within the houses.Improve the quality of residence hall lifeServe as the official representative of South Quad residents expressing the opinion and interest in appropriate faculty, administrative, and student agencies.Be the central governing agency of South Quad.To appropriate dues, money, and all other sources of income.
