The Southeast Asia Business Association (hereafter, “SABA”) at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business has a fourfold mission. Firstly, SABA seeks to promote a deeper understanding of Southeast Asia (hereafter, “ASEAN”) business culture and practices within the Ross Business School (hereafter, “Ross”) community with the ultimate goal of assisting in the creation of a more diverse and culturally aware student body.Secondly, SABA will serve as a social and networking support group for ASEAN students at Ross.Thirdly, SABA will serve as Ross’ window to prominent Southeast Asian alumni for mentoring, job and internship opportunities and connecting alumni to the current ASEAN student body. Finally, SABA will serve as a channel of communication for prospective ASEAN students and admitted ASEAN students by providing orientation and guidance counseling to facilitate the transition into the Ross community.
