The Muslim Coalition is a union of 31 Muslim-adjacent religious, professional, and cultural student organizations at the University of Michigan. It aims to serve U-M's diverse Muslim student body and represent Muslim interests to the greater campus community in a pluralistic fashion. The Muslim Coalition has a Council, with delegates from the Muslim-adjacent student organizations at U-M and provides them with a forum to foster efficient communication, discussion, and collaboration. Furthermore, as the student-arm of the Islamophobia Working Group (IWG), The Coalition facilitates and supports Muslim-relevant projects that aim to address matters affecting all Muslim students on campus, such as access to prayer spaces, halal food, availability of bidets, surveying, and Ramadan programming. With these goals, the Coalition seeks to embrace U-M's diverse Muslim student community and enrich the Michigan experience.
