The Stampede aims to foster community among the Stamps student body while providing real-world experience in exhibiting art. Our organization will orchestrate, curate, and exhibit shows that welcome all students across the University of Michigan campus with the goal of facilitating connections so that students can come together, with art as the common ground. These shows will take place in both informal off-campus independent/guerilla art shows, along with shows in more formal exhibitions connected with university spaces. We plan to cultivate a platform where students can display their work that may not connect in a traditional Stamps classroom setting, and develop skills with students of similar interests.
