VSC has been established for the purpose of promoting the study and practice of Vedanta philosophy as propounded by Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda. It shall be a forum for the study and promotion of spiritual and practical wisdom as expounded in the ancient spiritual texts. It shall have an emphasis on practice of spiritual values in daily life. It shall be a non-sectarian and non-political organization with an all-inclusive approach. Volunteers of VSC shall strive towards social service with an attitude of Service to Humanity is Service to Divinity. All members of the university community are welcome to attend any event organized by the VSC.
