Wolverine Street Law ("Street Law") allows students an opportunity to utilize their legal education by teaching community members about legal rights and remedies as they relate to a variety of subjects, particularly those whose access to legal advice and education is limited. Students work with adults and children at five different sites within Ann Arbor and the nearby community: Bryant Elementary School, Parnall Correctional Facility, the Washtenaw County Juvenile Detention Center, the Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility, and the Conviction Integrity Unit. Street Law provides training at the beginning of each semester.
