Wolverine Support Network (WSN) empowers University of Michigan students to create a safe community and support each other’s identity, mental well-being, and day-to-day lives through peer-facilitated support groups, mental health advocacy, and community events. WEEKLY GROUPSWSN facilitates peer-led support groups across campus for both undergraduate and graduate students that fit within students’ own availability. Upon signing up for a weekly group, students meet in a peer-led group once a week for ~1 hour. This space is intentionally designed to be comfortable and confidential. It is an honest outlet for students to support and engage with one another. To join a weekly group, visit umichwsn.org/join. DROP-IN GROUPSWSN also hosts weekly drop-in groups both in person and virtually. Each of these groups are led by two peer facilitators, and there is no sign-up required. Follow our Instagram for updates on when drop in groups occur! @umichwsn ORGANIZING TEAMIn addition to or as an alternative to joining a weekly group, students can also join our WSN Organizing Team: our committee-based program that works to create a culture of community care and mental well-being via unique projects, marketing & fundraising, and outreach to the greater U-M community. You can view committee offerings and apply at umichwsn.org/organizingteam. COMMUNITY EVENTSWSN offers a variety of community events! These are cost-free and open to all U-M students.
