Emory's Undergraduate Research Programs (URP) support faculty and students by providing resources for research projects and conference presentation attendance through URP grants. We also collaborate with faculty to create new undergraduate research opportunities.
Our programs include formal academic year initiatives that connect students with research mentors, as well as personalized advising for students seeking research opportunities on and off campus. The Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) has offered extended, full-time summer research experiences for over 25 years.
Additionally, our Research Ambassador Program consists of experienced upper-level students from diverse academic disciplines, including STEM, humanities, social sciences, and the arts. These ambassadors are dedicated to promoting undergraduate research and helping fellow students discover and engage in various research opportunities at Emory.
