We are a group of undergraduates committed to reducing harm surrounding the effects of drug use and sexual activity in vulnerable populations, without requiring abstinence. We work alongside local organizations such as the Georgia Harm Reduction Coalition and support students in making positive change in the community. We also work to address the stigma surrounding drug use, HIV, and more. Our mission is to decrease the stigma surrounding drug use and sexual activity and their associated risks, and provide undergraduates opportunities to get involved and make a change in this field. Things We Have Accomplished: - Fostered biweekly volunteering trips during the school year, and summer internship opportunities for undergrads relating to harm reduction. - Organized Narcan training sessions for students. We have plans to partner with fraternities and sororities to support these students as well. - Tabled on and off-campus to spread awareness about harm reduction and distribute free resources such as Narcan, fentanyl test strips, safer sex resources such as condoms and lube, and educational pamphlets on HIV and more.
