The purpose of Emory Rehabilitation Advocates (ERA) is to provide resources for and hold events to educate the Emory community and the broader public about disabilities and disorders that impede everyday life—this includes but is not limited to physical and mental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, neuromuscular disorders, congenital disorders, and more. ERA also strives to disseminate advances made in research and medicine pertaining to the disabilities and disorders mentioned above. ERA hopes to foster awareness of the struggles of disability and garner interest in the ongoing efforts to alleviate these struggles.
