The Graduate Nursing Council (GNC) is the leadership of graduate nursing students, recognized by Emory University. Our purpose is to help promote the long-standing tradition of excellent nursing through leadership and unity of the graduate nursing students. GNC is the voice of students in all graduate nursing specialties for change and advocacy, representing graduate nursing students in the University Senate, Graduate Student Government Association, and Student Government Association. It is responsible for providing enriching extracurricular and co-curricular activities for graduate nurses, using the budget allocated to GNC with the graduate nurses' student activity fees. This group sponsors academic lunch-and-learn sessions and social events throughout the year. We are committed to providing student awareness and camaraderie among the entire Emory community. Join us and make new friends that will last a lifetime! Membership is encouraged and open to all nursing graduate students for Graduate Nursing Council.
