NORD stands for the National Organization for Rare Disorders. We are a patient advocacy organization that aims to improve the lives of families affected by rare conditions through education, advocacy, research, and patient services. The goals of the NORD Student Chapter are to help spread awareness through advocating for the rare disease community on campus and to help establish more professional career opportunities for Emory's students in the rare disease space
