PsychSIG aims to stimulate interest and make medical students aware of opportunities available in the field of psychiatry and to further psychiatric knowledge of medical students. PsychSIG is also devoted to providing opportunities for medical students to participate in activities related to the field of psychiatry including: talks by psychiatrists, patient presentations, advice from senior students, research opportunities, learning materials, volunteer opportunities, and shadowing of psychiatrists in the workplace.
