The Rollins Public Health Advocates for Children's Wellness (PHACW) mission is to empower Emory Rollins college students to work alongside community partners to address key challenges facing children's health and well-being.
The PHACW seeks to be a grad student community at Rollins School of Public Health dedicated to improving the lives of children through public health initiatives.
We aim to achieve this through collaboration with organizations like schools, hospitals, and government agencies to organize activities such as reading programs aimed at improving literacy skills, school/toy drives to provide essential resources, information sessions on relevant child health topics, and advocacy campaigns focusing on critical issues. We will actively engage with diverse community partners to leverage their expertise and resources for maximum impact.
We believe that the PHACW can make a significant positive impact on the lives of children and strengthen the connection between Rollins and the broader community. PHACW will offer members a chance to gain practical experience in public health, develop leadership skills, and contribute to the well-being of children in our community. We are confident that this group will resonate with many students who share our passion for public health and improving the lives of children.
