The purpose of the Tribal Law Society is to educate law students and the Emory community about the intricacies of Tribal Law and jurisprudence, and provide a space for student to learn more about tribal culture and tradition in the Law. To become a member of the Tribal Law Society one must show genuine interest in learning about and discussing issues of tribal law and sovereignty to develop a strong foundational understanding of the third set of courts present in the United States. To become a member, there is no application process: students are encouraged to attend a meeting and join us on The Hub if they would like to formally join TLS.
