Students gain the opportunity to learn about assistive technology, while working with disabled families in the community creating these technologies to solve a challenge they face!
Semester events include:
- Build parties making wheelchairs for toddlers in the area
- 3D printing and CAD modeling seminars
- Weekend long Make-A-Thon event where students are assigned a challenge (introduced by someone in the community with a disability) and work over the weekend to build a solution
- And so much more! No prior experience needed!
