The purpose of CVSA is to promote Cape Verdean culture and heritage, provide a supportive space for students of Cape Verdean descent, and engage the broader Northeastern community in the understanding and appreciation of Cape Verdean traditions. A culture that is shared amongst West Africans and PALOP (Portuguese speaking African countries). CVSA aims to create opportunities for cultural exchange, academic support, and community building.
