The Northeastern University Black Athlete Caucus (NUBAC) is a student organization that establishes a safe space and support system for black student-athletes at Northeastern University, while advocating for change and increased visibility in the Northeastern athletic department. The purpose of NUBAC is rooted in our four core principles: community, education, wellness, and fundraising. As an organization, we strive to implement public service campaigns that cultivate inclusive environments in the athletic department and among the broader Northeastern community. To further educate our peers, we provide Northeastern students, student-athletes, and the greater Boston area with programs that enhance knowledge surrounding career paths, financial freedoms, black history, and unity. Additionally, NUBAC amplifies the wellness of those on campus by offering mental health and nutrition resources, while conducting initiatives as part of various campus-wide efforts to donate goods, funds, and time to local organizations in Boston.
