International & Multicultural
The Northeastern Caribbean Students' Organization, established in 1982, is a social and cultural group that caters to all diasporas but primarily to people of West Indian Descent. The organization was formed in order to promote Caribbean unity, cultural awareness, togetherness, social interest, and academic excellence. We also encourage the fostering of friendships and association among students, and the academic development and achievement of all members. We provide a familiar environment and inclusive space for students from the Caribbean region, Caribbean parentage, or of Caribbean interest to share experiences and empathize with one another. Our slogan says it best: "Unity is strength, and our culture makes us one."
