Academic
The purpose of this organization shall be to increase exposure to the Addictions Medicine subspecialty. The AMSIG aims to equip medical students with the knowledge needed to provide empathetic care to their patients affected by addiction regardless of the specialty they ultimately pursue. The AMSIG will also provide students with opportunities to learn about the impact of addiction through the perspectives of patients, physicians, and others working in the field.
