Ambassadors Program for Global Health
Academic
The Ambassador Program for Global Health/One Health (APGH) at Michigan State University is committed to raising awareness and promoting knowledge of global health and One Health principles. The organization fosters collaboration among pre-health students and supports scholarly and humanitarian activities in these fields. To achieve its goals, APGH hosts monthly lectures featuring guest speakers and requires members to attend at least two lectures per semester. The organization also encourages participation in study abroad programs, with at least one Executive Board (E-board) member required to have such experience. Weekly E-board meetings are held via Zoom, and two general meetings are conducted annually. Members must also complete two volunteer hours each semester. Any amendments to the constitution are made through a vote by APGH members, and if more than 50 applications are received, a selection process is conducted. Through these activities and regulations, APGH aims to enhance global health awareness and education on campus.
